     Flowers for pink wedding bouquet.

My bridal party is wearing pink dresses. The wedding colors are shades of pink. lighter and darker pinks. What should the bouquets be? I was going to do the same for all of ours, and I am now wondering if that may not look right. Should I do all one color pink for theirs, and use the 2 shades for mine? Or, use one shade for theirs, and the other shade for mine? If I did the one shade for theirs, should it be the lighter shade that matches their dresses, or the darker shade?

Shocked Well, I think you have a lot going on in your letter. First of all are you using all one flower or a mixture? If you are using a mixture one good way to go is with a darker or lighter shade than the dresses with touches of a matching flower.

SmileI definitely think the bridal bouquet should be much nicer and different than the attendants. You could do the same pink bouquet with another very special flower added for distinction. Maybe something like white pearl pinned stephanotis, Lily of the valley or calla lilies. This could be in white and ivory or maybe a much brighter or softer pink. Consider your personality and find something special for you alone.

Wink If you are using all one flower like say roses or calla lilies the same rules would apply to the attendants bouquets. For yourself probably choosing all one color; either a deep or pastel shade would probably be most distinctive.
The main thing to remember is pretty obvious. You do not want the flowers to exactly match the dresses but to stand up with the dresses as a background shade.
SmileHope this helps...Looking up some nice bouquet photos will be helpful too. Also keep in mind that contrast is more effective than matching. It is also really easy with pink flowers. They come in a million beautiful tones and shades. If I were you I would mix it up a bit and enjoy the diversity. At any rate it is near impossible to go wrong with pinks....They are awesome!!!!Have fun and enjoy your planning. All the BestCool
