Freeze dried rose petals are real rose petals that have been preserved. They retain the beautiful color and lovely fragrance of just - picked petals for up to 5 months.
Freeze dried rose petals are a natural alternative to throwing rice or releasing balloons at weddings and are often welcome at churches and event facilities.
How do I care for freeze dried rose petals?
Store in a cool, dark area (not the refrigerator, it's too cold).
If you're using freeze dried petals for a toss, open the package(s) the day of the event: they will be drier and fly better.
If you're using your petals for the aisle or tabletops, you might like to open the package(s) the day prior to the event, so that the dried petals will soften in the open air.
If you're using them in the bedroom, take the freeze dried petals into the bathroom. Open the package and place them on a dry surface, and run the shower for a few minutes, allowing the steam to soften them.
Do not use freeze dried petals in the rain, melted snow, around spilled beverages, or other wet conditions for the safety of your guests. Wet petals may stain carpets, flooring and clothing, and most importantly present a slipping hazard.
How many freeze dried petals do I need?
One package of freeze dried rose petals will:
Fill one large flower girl basket or two small baskets.
Provide enough petals for 30-40 guests to toss as the bride and groom exit the ceremony.
Fill 20 of our favor bags.
Decorate five or six 60" round tabletops with a lighly scattered look, or two or three table tops with a carpeted look.

Decorate a bath or bedroom generously.
