What type of flowers should I use to make my wedding look elegant? I have always thought that red roses add elegance but I dont think that it will fit my colors. Any suggestions? The main colors are green and Ivory and the accents are gold. Thanks!

There are a lot of ways to go and here are a few suggestions.
Green Gymbidium Orchids with Burgundy Throats are up to date and classy. Make a great centerpiece floating in water in a glass bowl and lit with submersible led lights.
Ivory Polar Star Roses are big and full and beautiful intersperced with Ivory Equadorian Hydrangea and a few green Hypericum berries.
Ivory Calla Lilies and long wisps of Beargrass in tall containers might be another way to go.
Other flowers to look into are Bells of Ireland, Green Parrot Tulips, Blooming Branches, Green Tracelium and Lilies.
Use your gold accents in the linens, ribbons and detail workings. Tie napkins with gold tassles, trim seating cards in gold foils, wear gold shoes and jewelry or elements like that. Use tons of votive candles too. Always the elegant touch.
Keep things simple and sparkly and keep within your color theme..It is beautiful.

Though red roses are beautiful, I think you are going to be more pleased with an all white and green floral selection. There are many great options when it comes to these two colors and they will always be classic and elegant.
Some great flowers to use would be long-stemmed or standard calla lilies. These would add height to centerpieces and can be used in a very modern or traditional way. White hydrangeas are beautiful, and white roses as well. Tulips are very elegant, as well as casa blanca lilies. Depending on your style and taste, combining some of the flowers I have mentioned will be something you will want to discuss with your floral designer. If you want to add some green touches, there are endless possibilities with foliage options.
I would suggest you schedule a consultation with a floral designer who is willing to listen to your needs, and create something that is going to bring the elegance out in the venue you have chosen. You might begin looking through bridal magazines and clipping out different bouquets and flowers you like. If you bring these along with you, a seasoned designer will be better able to assist you and your needs. Congratulations! Audrey Gardemeyer Botanica Floral Designs
