Hi! We're planning our wedding for September 2, 2006, but we're having a conflict... Lilacs are a very special and meaningful flower to us and we would really like to have the flowers as part of our wedding. We don't need them to be the "main" flower, but rather prefer to use a few to just to bring that meaning to our wedding day. I've been searching around and found that lilacs are not available locally (NE Ohio) at that time. My questions are 1. can we order them from another part of the country (or another part of the world if feasible)? And 2. Would ordering freeze dried lilacs be just as effective (as far as the color & the scent)?
Thank you!!
Bianca

Oh I know it isn't fair but God made lilacs for Spring and to enjoy the real thing we more have to adhere to His schedule. On the other hand sometimes in Winter growers south of the equator can make them available. Never however have I seen them in Fall or Summer. Thats just the facts we lilac lovers have to accept....And it makes them more special when we can get them. How about you and your Fiancee have a lilac incrusted private and romantic spring date and make it an annual tradition...That can be special too...Lots of love and be happy...
