I have been seeing some centerpiece ideas with a nice vase and tree branches painted silver with crystals hanging off of them and I am in love with that idea. Do you think this is tacky? We are having a black, pink and white wedding but I don't want it to look like a funeral. Thank you for your time.

In my wedding business I have actually done this a few times. I used natural green curly willow and got the chandelier crystals online. It was GEORGEOUS! I might suggest you make a mock up and consider leaving the branches a natural color, or just lightly spraying them with silver. Just to see the Christmas vs. Fall option. Also, wire the crystals on...If they wiggle and fall they are sort of heavy and can disrupt dinner...But basically go for it! Have fun! Sue of Hobart's Fine Florals http://www.hobartsfineflorals.com
