     October Wedding Centerpiece ideas

We are having an Oct wedding. The Bridesmaid dresses are claret (deep red) and the tuxedos are black with toffee vests and ties. The brides dress is an off white color (so I am told). So it isn't overly fall feeling but can work with fall colors. We are looking for budget friendly centerpiece ideas. And a good assortment of colors to go along with it. Thanks!

Smile How about bowls with cranberries in water, a pillar candle and a few loose blooms, petals or leaves on the table.
If not cranberries then mixed petals and a candle...Deep red is beautiful. Look at the Black Magic Rose before you get too far..One great possibility.

Candles (in safe glass containers depending on your venue and number/age of guests) go a long way when it comes to economical decor. Just remember to try to find unscented, or at least choose just one scent intermingled with mostly unscented candles, as the result of many badly mixed scents can be overwhelming.

Many people are alternating floral arrangements on 1/3 or 1/2 of their tables with candlescapes and simpler appointments on other tables for a great eccletic mix in a room that allows for a live floral element (very classy) in combination with a fun, more creative and economical one. Potted herbs, potted greens and live plants that you may use in a garden later (if they are treated kindly during the reception) are also options. Your local warehouse home improvement store has lots of inexpensive options that can be dressed up with a coordinating ribbon.
