Placing pew bows on every row.

I want to have pew bows all the way down on both sides of the aisle for decoration. Tonight, a florist friend of my mom's said that wasn't right or proper and I should only have a few bows on the first rows. What should I do? Is it proper if I have them all the way down? Please help!Frown

Pew bows are usually for the purpose of marking the first few rows to reserve them for the family. So, that is where the bows should go. Use another type of accent for the other rows to keep down confusion for your family and guests.

I would like to clarify the point about pew bows. They are specifically designed as decorations and can be used on every pew to decorate the path of the bridal party. Many times due to cost, a bride will only use the bows on the first few pews for the family. This is a personal choice and is not improper. There may be some confusion between pew ribbons (within the ribbon) and pew bows.
