     Question about dress and flowers

I want a light blue dress for my bridesmaids and I want them to have a bouquet with pink roses. (I'm unsure if the entire bouquet will be pink or if it will be pink and white) Now my questions are 1. Is light blue inappropriate for a spring/summer wedding? and 2. Would pink flowers go with a light blue bridesmaid dress?

SmileSmileLight blue is a beautiful color for spring and summer and very appropriate. Pink is great with it . I think I would like to suggest you add some white and /or lime green accents and perhaps use a few shades of pink.
The reason is that pink and blue are georgeous together but see if you can deviate a bit from the baby pink and baby blue look a bit. Just find something to pull the sophistication level up a bit.
Maybe hot and light pink flowers or a touch of electric blue delphinium or lavender. Lime green does this well too.
There are a ton of great flowers in various pinks and you can have fun with this. If you like the lime idea too check out the rose called Jade, which just nearly dances next to light blue. A soft green french wrapped ribbon and I think you have a great combination. Good luck and have a beautiful wedding. Wink
