     September Wedding Flowers

I am getting married Sept. 15, I have no knowledge of flowers what so ever. I plan on having the girls wear either wine, or navy dresses. I want the look to be classic and elegant. Any advice regarding choice of flowers would help greatly. Thank you

SmileYou can get pretty much anything you like in Septermbe. Some things I like for that time of year are dahlias, gerber daisies, hypericum berries and calla lilies. I think to get started you should google up wedding bouquet pictures and pick up a few magazines.
In fall the beautiful burnished and deep jewel tones are spectacular. There are about a million beautiful two toned roses that can be coordinated with whatever colors you like.
Ypi will also have a great choice of textural elements like fillers, grasses and seed heads.
Just start by looking at photos and start accumulating ideas. Get a folder and put the pictures in there. Things will begin to come together. A consultant withh a good florist will be a great help too. You just need to get a little inspitration. It will be fun...Smile
