Pretty much all of our vendors had a set tip ammount, or we know what we need to give them on the day of the wedding. I am not sure what to tip our florist in addition to their $400 set-up fee that will be paid at the time of our final payment. Please advise. Thank you.

Most vendors do not include tips in their bill, other than perhaps the venue which might include tips for their staff. Tips should be given if you are provided with exemplary service and the amount is at your discretion. Tips are typically 10 - 25% but are not mandatory. Thank you, I do understand this, and I am not worried about any of my other vendors. I want to make a list of the maximum amount of tips that my parents will be distributing the day of, heaven forbid something goes wrong, we will just take money out of the envelopes and reduce or eliminate a tip. I do not want to have to calculate up anything that day, so I am trying to be prepared. As far as the florist goes, we have a $4000 bill with them, we are already paying a $400 se-up fee, which is included in their contract. My question is, do we need to tip them when they arrive to deliver and set up the flowers? If so, how much is appropriate, I do not kow how many people there will be there to set up.
The Wedding Queen really has answered your question. It is still the same answer. If you want to tip them, you would tip the company after the job has been completed. If the people setting up, on the day, hold their hand out, shake it. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
