     Tropical Flowers

We are having a Hawaiian themed wedding, and would like to know: 1) Aside from orchids, are there any other tropical flowers we can use that are in the shades of purple?

2) What other type of (purple/lavender) flowers would compliment pink gingers, stargazer lilies, and pink anthuriums?

Our florist went a little crazy with pink flowers, and we are trying to lessen the pinks and use more purples, which is our main color.

THANK YOU!

SmileAsk your florist to use purple Anthirriums instead of pink...other than dendrobium orchids that is what I would suggest. Lime is another color to consider to "de-pinky" the arrangement. Calla lilies might also be a good addition. Leaves like xanadu philodendron and foliage like lucadendron might be worth looking into as well. Good luck and happy planning.

Thank you. I love purple calla lilies, but I heard they are very expensive, though. Is that true? Thank you again.
