boutonnieres for the Pastor and musician?

Are we to buy the Pastor and the ceremony musician (who is a friend) a boutonnière for the wedding? Or, do they not normally wear one?

Musicians who are friends and guests may wear a boutonniere. Most pastors will not, as they perform the ceremony in robes - but in certain denominations it is actually expected. If you don't want to ask the pastor directly, consider asking another church member or church coordinator who might be able to advise you of church-specific guidelines or pay the nominal fee for the boutonniere and offer it to him either way, just to be safe.
