First you need to divert you thinking from the idea of matching anything. Your gown colors will be the background to the flowers and decorations.

My first inclination would be toward whites and ivory flowers but a lot would have to do with the time of year and degree of formality you are interested in.

Indoors in the evening you could rock with blue linens and white and deep champagne flowers (the rose you would look for there is called SAHARA) You might pop in a few blue iris in the centerpieces as well.

If a little more casual feel is more your style you might consider adding another color such as butter yellow , lime green or pink ..Blue will actually look great with almost anything except red..(unless patriotism is your thing...)

I worked on a wedding with deep cobalt almost purple gowns last fall and we used buttercream gerber daisies ( specifically named CREAM EYE.) soft salmon roses and ivory roses and lime and blue hydrangea. It was a total stunner.

I will also say with the new deep champagne almost taupe gowns a combo of white, ivory and beige is the way to go in my opinion...The color is soooooooooo elegant that adding more in the flowers is unnecessary. Opt for inrticacies such as stephanotis with crystal pins or freesia rather than tons of color.

Hope I got ya thinking Wink! Have fun and a perfect day!
