corsage for the mother of the groom

My son is getting married very soon, the mother of the bride has decided that she does not want a corsage should I follow in suit and not wear one or is it ok for mother of the groom to have a corsage?

Dear Corsage,

If you want to wear a corsage, it is perfectly fine to do so.

Enjoy!

Sincerely,
