     corsage for stepmother

Is it proper to have a corsage for my mother, a boutonniere for both my stepfather and father, but no corsage for my stepmother or my fiances stepmother?

Dear Flowers,

If the stepmothers are viewed as 'mothers,' they would receive corsages. If they are not, they would not receive them.

Typically stepmothers are in the background.

Best wishes,
