As the MOB, I do not care to wear a corsage and have discussed this with my daughter. She is fine with the idea and doesn't feel corsages are necessary. We have decided that there will not be corsages for the MOG or Grandmothers as well.
It was suggested to me that we should have a simple carnation corsage for the wedding coordinator so that the guests will know who she is. Since none of the other women are wearing corsages, will this seem odd? Please advise me what should be done in this situation.
Thank you!

Dear MOB,
She doesn't need one. Those who need to know who she is will already know.

She can identify herself to those people who are key - I'm not sure if she's a friend or a hired coordinator, but most professional coordinators will not wear them, and almost all prefer not to wear them. I would not buy her a corsage. Shayna Walker, Williamsburg Wedding Design http://www.williamsburgweddingdesign.com

Re: [Weddings by Shayna] corsage for the wedding planner

She is a friend and is the "day of" wedding coordinator. She is experienced, but not a professional. This is why it was suggested that she wear a corsage as there will be other guests that will know who she is. My main concern was that if no one else was wearing corsages, would it be odd for her to wear one?
