deep purple and navy blue wedding flowers excluding roses

I am new at this whole asking for help thing so if I don't make myself clear I apologize in advance!

My fiancee and I are planning a November wedding and our colors are deep purple and navy blue. What flowers would work well with these colors, excluding roses ( my fiancee doesn't care for them)?

thank you,

Robert

Some good flower choices in blue and purple would be hydrangea, Iris, tulips (yes you cna now get them in November) freesia, lisianthus, trachellium, veronica, and agapanthus...Google away!
I would also suggest a brighter complimentary color choice. Some to consider would be burnished fuchsia and pinks or perhaps some butterscotch gold and tawny oranges or salmons. In these tones some flowers to look at might be mini calla lilies, mums and asters and dahlias.
I(f you want yourflowers to add to the overall look of your wedding, which I am sure you do, you need a bit of a punch up against navy and purple. It is a gorgeous background but a recessive color. Find something to pop up against it and you will be in business. Good Luck and have a great wedding!
