What is the proper etiquette for flowers for the step mother of the groom?

It was a bitter divorce and she is not well liked by the groom nor the grooms mother as well as the marriage being late in the grooms life (he was 24 when his father remarried).

Dear Amya,

She is typically not viewed as one of the mothers. So, she doesn't receive flowers. She and the father sit is the third row. She is not seated as special.

Best wishes,
