     flower color matching bridesmaid's dresses

I have pool colored dresses for the bridesmaids, and have decided on blue hydrangeas for my flowers. Will this be ok or a bad combo??

You might want to add a complimentary color to the flowers: butter yellow or dusty rose, depending on your preference.

Enjoy the wedding!

SmileI think the hydrangeas would be a great choice for centerpieces, your bouquet and altar arrangements but should be an accent flower for the bridesmaids. You will need to pop in a few more colors to get them to create any sort of impact against the pool blue gowns. They would however make a great base for just about any other color or flower. Just weave the other blooms through and they will be a delight.
In terms of what color I love salmon and peach with the blue but really you will just have to look around to find your "next favorite color." Have some fun...Gerber daisies might also be a nice possibility and they come in a million color combinations to play with. Happy planning and hope this helps a bit.
