flowers for grassy green bridesmaids gowns

My bridesmaids' gowns are a bright grass-green color, strapless, satin, and knee-length, (very sophisticated). It's for a June wedding. Any ideas on flowers?

Dear Calderonig:

You might also consider a bouquet filled with yellow Kingspride roses (or yellow Peonies) coupled with a hint of bupleurum (its petals are yellowish-green and arranged in groups with small yellow flowers). You'd accentuate their dresses and still add a splash of color.

That's if you want color, of course:-)

I hope this helps.

CoolWith that color you can go anywhere you like with flowers...well, with the exception of red.(don't want to look like Christmas in June!) The all green colors are very popular but I think I would tend to steer you into inviting another color to the party as well. Just like in nature the green will pop the other colors out and make a perfect backdrop. June is peak peony season and they come in all shades of pinks, fuchsia and an amazing coral color...Also check out anemonies, ranuculas, lilacs, and freesia. To determine what colors to add, look to nature in the spring in your area; she has a great sense of color! In lieu of that there are a lot of great websites, this one included, to help you find the right color combinations. Have fun and be happy!!!
