I'm getting married in November and the only color I really like that goes with that time of year is red. I don't like yellows or oranges and I really wanted to just have red. Red roses are my favorite flower and I thought it would be beautiful and dramatic to have a bouquet of only red roses against my white gown. In fact I wanted to have red roses as the only flower used at the wedding. Would it look stupid to have my maid of honor (my only attendant) carry red roses and wear a red dress? It seems like not enough contrast, but I don't know what other color to have her wear.

Stop worrying...with one attendant, just do what you like. Have her carry the red roses. Back her flowers with some nice light or sage green leaves and use a green ribbon wrap for an added contrast. All red roses are beautiful and romantic...go for it! (Check out the varieties Black Magic and Charlotte for some nice ones!) have a great wedding!
