     wedding corsages and boutonniere

Is there a certain number of flowers to be used for each corsage or boutonniere? Also, my color is purple. I was going to make all the wedding party boutonniere dark purple and the mother's and grandparent's white with some purple on them; is that okay?

Smile There are no set rules on bouts and corsages. From my experience everyone will appreciate smaller pin on flowers. Practice making them to remove as much bulk as possible from the flowers. Your purple and white theme sounds just dandy. If in doubt on any of the colors competing with dress colors use some ivy leaves or other greenery to neutralize the background.

Handy tipWinkhere... Pin the mens bouts on through the backside of the lapel. They will be straight and sturdySmile Go for it! (But practice before the big day. It's not always easy to do a good job the first time, but you'll get it.) Have a great wedding!
