     ALL THESE GIFTS!

I am in a wedding in may. 95% of the people in, or going to the wedding live in nashville, tn. My wife and I are also hosting a shower with three or four other couples for the bride and groom.

My question is...after having to pay for, 1. a gift and expenses for the shower, 2. travel expense to florida, 3. lodging expense in florida (they are paying for some of this) am I then obligated to purchase a wedding gift?

Sorry, it is expected that guests to a wedding bring a gift. Select something that's affordable for you. Handmade keepsakes such as a preserved wedding invitation or a handmade wedding album is a great, budget wise gift, if you're crafty.

Best of Luck.
