Don't Know Bride or Groom Well

Help! My boss was invited to the wedding of someone who works for a company of which he is a member of the Board of Directors. He does not know them well at all, and he has asked me to figure out what the proper response it.

The wedding happened a few weeks ago (I am new and just getting his old paperwork in order) so we obviously missed the RSVP deadline and he did not attend. I think at this point he should simply send a card of congratulations.

Please advise!

Dear Catch Up,

Yes, a card of congratulations is fine.

Best wishes,
