Gift for father in law's 2nd wedding

My father in law notified my husband yesterday that he is getting married on Sunday; this is his 2nd and her 3rd - what is gift etiquette here?

I'm not quite certain what you're asking. Are you asking what to buy as a gift or should you buy a goft...???

Both I guess - do we bring a gift with us to a wedding we were notified of 5 days in advance to and if we do what do we bring - money versus actual present. This is his 2nd marriage and her 3rd ... Thank you

When you were invited really has no impact on gift giving. You should select a gift based on your feelings for the couple and considering your financial abilities. Personally, I prefer gift that someone has selected just for me (versus cash gifts) but you'll have to decide that based on the recipients.
