     Gift for groom brother

My only brother who is my twin is getting married in September. He hinted that he would like a sentimental gift from me. I would like to buy him a tool chest as he has been carrying tools in his overalls since he was 3 years old. My friends think this would be insulting to the bride, since she will not use a tool box. Also, he does not have a place in his condo for such a large item at this time. I was considering giving him a picture of the tool chest with the money in a sealed picture frame. I want it to be special for my brother but not insulting to the bride. Any advice?

Dear Aphi,

It is perfectly fine to give your brother the tool chest or the money for it. Any tools he uses would benefit the two of them even if she doesn't use them. And, this is a gift suited for the person.

Best wishes,
