     Gift for grooms mother

Should the grooms mother receive a gift of some kind of jewelry from her first born son?

I don't know that I have ever heard of that being a tradition. I suppose the groom could give his mom a gift, or the bride her mom, but it's not something that should be expected. Nice idea, though.

I agree, that is not an everyday tradition but could be a family tradition. And, yes, a very nice gesture.

I also have never heard of this tradition. And, I also agree that it is a very nice gesture.
