     Gift question for elaborate wedding

My wife and I are from the eastern US, but we are attending a very elaborate and expensive $$$,$$$ wedding in the midwest. We have booked airline tickets, rented a tux, bought new outfits to fit in, etc.

Do we give money, check, gift, gift card - and how much?

If we get a gift from their registry do we take it with us or have it delivered to the bride's parents house?

Hello -

Please do scan the site for these answers since we have had this question many times before.

Wedding gifts are to be sent to the home of the bride before the wedding. The gift selection is a personal choice. Give based on your budget and your relationship with the couple.

Have a nice trip.
