Gift to boss's children for wedding if not invited?

My boss's daughter is getting married in a week. He is new here and I have never met his family. I am not invited to the wedding. I am not sure if I am supposed to give a gift. What is the proper etiquette for this situation? Unsure

Dear To Give or Not to Give,

Please don't. It could appear as apple polishing. A card is a nice gesture.

Best wishes,
