Gifts for Ceremony participants other then bridal party

Hello...

Getting married in Vegas next month. It is a small destination wedding (60 people). It will be traditional in the sense that the ceremony will be held in a Catholic church and then the reception at a Country Club reception hall.

We have three groomsmen & three bridesmaids for whom we have already purchased gifts. What about the rest of the people involved in the ceremony? What is the etiquette? I have a friend and her uncle performing readings. We also have a couple doing another minor task at the ceremony. Do we get them gifts as well? Should they be different from the bridal party gifts?

THANKS!!!

Dear Vegas Wedding,

No, they are not part of the bridal party. You don't have to give them a gift. But, you could do something special like thank them during your reception.

Best wishes,
