My fiance and I are having a hard time coming up with gifts to give to our parents as an appreciation. Neither dad golfs, or fishes, or likes sports much. My mom does not like "dust collectors." What do the bride and groom usually give their parents?

Firstly, don't stress over these gifts. Whatever you purchase, or make, should come from your heart because you want to thank them for loving and supporting you, not because of a feeling of obligation.
Select something personal which has meaning and can be deemed a keepsake. Consider framing your wedding invitation in a double sided frame, leaving one side empty to place a photo of the family. The frame could be engraved with the wedding date if you like. Using this same double sided frame you could insert a baby picture of you one one saide and your wedding photo on the other.
The gift doesn't have to be expensive...just meaningful. A heartfelt thank you letter written on beautiful stationary is something I, as a mother, would cherish. Write the letter or even a poem, pair it with a bouquet of flowers and present this to your parents at the rehearsal dinner and I guarantee a reaction!
There are lots of gifts you can buy too.
