I have been dating a man for 15 months and know his friends pretty well. He is in his best friends wedding next week. The friend has always been kind of cold to me. We broke up for a few weeks and were not dating when the invitations went out. My boyfriend was invited without a guest to the wedding. Now that we are dating again he has asked me to attend the wedding with him... with his friends permission. Should I give his friend a gift?

Your boyfriend really shouldn't ask his friend to bring you, as this would put him in a difficult situation and it isn't polite. But, if you attend as his date, you are not obligated to give a gift. You could if you wish to though.
