A good friend of mine is getting married in just a few days. From the beginnning I have planned on giving money, so he and his new wife can spend it how they see fit.
What is the best way to give money? Should I send a personal check or simply place cash in the envelope? If I send a check, is it ok to write it in the groom's name only? Should I include a card or note?
I appreciate any feedback or tips anyone can offer. This is the first wedding I have ever been involved in and I'm trying to learn as much about wedding etiquette as I can.
Thanks,
-Matt

Please do not send cash in the mail or bring cash to the reception as it can get lost. Send or bring a check made out to Mr. and Mrs. Groom. Have fun! Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
