How do you write a check to a newly married couple? Do you use the groom's name or both names?

Sending a gift to the home of the bride before the wedding is best. But, if you want to give a monetary gift you can either make the check to the groom's name or the bride's name (if given before the wedding) or to Mr. and Mrs. Groom's name (if given after they are married).
