One gift for both wedding and shower
|

I am invited to a bridal shower as well as the wedding. I would like to give one big gift instead of two smaller ones. Is this appropriate?

Dear Giving,
It would be nice. But, if you are attending both events, you are expected to give for both events.
The shower gift is supposed to be the smaller, less expensive gift. I know many do not know this, but it is.
