     Parents Gifts

We were just wondering if we are supposed to give a gift to my parents even if they aren't pay for any of the wedding? My fiancee's father is paying for the food and drinks but my family refuses to give anything. Should we just give something the his father or both?

Gifts should always be given from the heart. If you want to give a gift to thank a parent for:

1. financially supporting the wedding

2. emotionally supporting you

3. raising such a terrific person

(you get where I'm headed here, right?)

then please do so.

But, you're not obligated to give anyone a gift.
