I am going to a wedding in a few days i still have no gift. I need to find out about a girt i can just grab in a hurry. I heard also that you can give them a blender, or give them cash. I think my friend said you can give them $200 dollars. Is this true?
Any gift you'd like to give will be appropriate. Remember, gifts should never be mandatory or expected but should be given as a token of your care for the recipient. Choose your gift with the recipient in mind. If you are going to send a gift, other than a check or cash, please mail it to the home of the bride's parents or to the return address on the invitation before the wedding since gifts can get lost or stolen at the reception. Since this wedding is in just a few days it would be most prudent for you to give a check (if you desire to give a gift) at the reception. Again, the amount of the gift should be determined by you. There is not etiquette to suggest a standard "going rate" for cash gifts to a bridal couple. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
