     Sending Gifts To MOG Home

The wedding will be in the Bride’s home town but the bride and groom will be living close to me, MOG, about 300 mile away. The bride and groom will be leaving for the honeymoon right after the wedding and then flying home after.

I know that usually the gifts are sent to bride’s parents’ home but would it be okay to have gifts sent to the MOG’s home for guests who live in groom’s home town. I have had some guests ask already and I am not sure what to tell them.

Thank you for you help!

Dear MOG,

The gifts could be sent to the home of the couple. If not, it is their choice where the gifts should be shipped. Parents are not as involved as they once were.

Best wishes,
