Sending thank you notes for joint gifts

Several groups of wedding guests gave us a group gift. Should I send one thank you note with all their names on it, or should I send a separate note to each address? My concern with sending one with all names is that the one I send it to won't share it with everyone else; and my concern with separating them is that one person will see just their name and think I didn't realize it was from multiple people. Which is correct? Thanks!

Dear Mariejs,

It is most proper to send a thank you note to each of them because each contributed.

Best wishes,
