Short term marriage, what do you do with the gifts?

I got remarried 2 months ago, and have realized that it was a big mistake. I think I was still rebounding from my first marriage. If I decide to separate, what is expected of me in regard to gifts we received. Do I return them to everyone, or an equivalent of the gift? Most have been used, gifts certificates as well as actual gifts.

Traditionally, the bride would return gifts if she did not live with her husband as 'husband and wife'. There are different opinions about how long a period of time is considered appropriate to keep the gifts or return them. The bottom line is that you did live with your husband, so technically you could keep the gifts.

You have to decide for yourself what feels comfortable for you.
