Should I get them a gift?

Should I get them a gift?

I had two cousins (siblings) who were married in the last few months. One sent me an invitation, and I sent her a gift since I could not attend. The other sibling did not send me an invitation so I did not send a gift.

I am now getting married, and sent invitations to both cousins....both sent us gifts. Does this mean I should now send a gift to the cousin that did not send me an invitation to his wedding, since they sent me a gift for mine? I'm finding this an incredibly awkward situation. Thanks for your advice.

Dear Julielee,

No gift is necessary. Just send a nice handwritten thank you note. Please do not use any gifts until after the wedding.

Best wishes,
