My friend of over 10 years decided she is going to elope in Vegas and I will be one of her witesses. Do I need to give them a gift? Money seems so impersonal, but she has everything else. Am I gift enough since she is only giving me 2 months notice and was extremely bad timing?

Yes, a gift is expected. She is a friend. You did have a choice to be her MOH, so that isn't a gift. And, money isn't the only gift. You could give her something heartfelt.
