     Some old, new, borrowed, blue

Is there a certain etiquette for the bride's old, new, borrowed & blue gifts? I am the MOH for my best friend's wedding & wasn't sure if the other bridesmaids and I give a gift to the bride to fulfill one of these before or on her wedding day?

Although it is not required of the bridal party, it would be a very meaningful and thoughtful gift.

It isn't traditional for the bridesmaids to give gifts based on this rhyme. I agree that it might be meaningful for your gift to reflect it though. But, none of you should feel that these gifts should be in addition to a wedding gift you give the bride. All of you spend enough money and time for her as it stands. Your gift could definitely be a group gift.
