     Thank you cards

Do you still send out Thank you cards to guests who didn't give a gift? How about guest who didn't send a gift but made out a card out of the menu? How about those who gave gifts that you have no use for. how do I word those thank you cards. I didn't register any where because I didn't need any household items this was my second marrige and we were living together for 2 years. If any one asked what I wanted I told them that we were saving up for a honeymoon to Hawaii.

There is no need to thank guests who did not bring a gift (I assume you already thanked them for coming in person). For a second wedding shower, any guests who have given gifts for the first wedding are not expected to give again, although they may like to attend to show support and be a part of your celebration.

You will thank your guests for all gifts; even the gifts you cannot use or don't like. You can thank them for their generopsity and for being there. If you have received gifts you cannot use simply take them back to the store where they were ourchased (if you can tell) or donate them to charity.
