Wedding gift from a college student

I've been dating my boyfriend for about a year. His sister is getting married this summer and we're attending the wedding together. I've joined my boyfriend, his sister and fiancé on a few occasions for dinners and such. Is it appropriate to give them a gift on my own? And if so, what kind of gift is appropriate to give as a college student (read: poor). Thanks for your help!

Dear Linsey:

You don't have to give a gift on your own. You can give a gift together with your boyfriend. But, if you'd like to send a small token of your esteem consider making a gift such as framing their wedding invitation or making a fabric covered photo album. If you're not crafty then there are many other low cost options such as:

Wedding Albums

Wedding Picture Frames

Keepsake Wedding Afghan

Two Become One Personalized Wedding Bible
