Wedding gifts for a couple who lives in another country
My cousin, who lives in Spain, recently became engaged to an Italian man. Even though they are going to continue to live together in Spain, they are planning to have a wedding in Oregon where her family lives. How should they handle receiving gifts when they would need to be shipped out of the country and therefore cost the guest quite a bit of money? Should they be responsible for getting the gifts back to Spain?
