     Wedding gifts without cards

Hello, I am a newlywed husband and my wife and I have just opened up all our gifts and found that we received gifts with no cards therefore not giving us any clue of who gave them to us. We really want to send out personalized thank you cards but we don't want to ask people what they got us and if they got us anything at all, because we have fewer gifts than people that showed up to the reception. Help?

This is a perfect example of why we send gifts to the home of the bride before the wedding. And, another very good reason why etiquette is so important.

We have many previous posts ion this subject so please search and read through them, especially since it is a holiday weekend.
