     What do I give my future husband for a gift?  

I have not decided what exactly to purchase yet but I was told only pocket watches was acceptable , is there anything else that would be alright ?

A pocket watch sounds nice, if your groom likes watches or will use it.

The gift should come from your heart, not from a list of acceptable gifts (a;though there is no such list as far as I know).

Think about what your fiance likes. Does he collect anything? Then purchase a gift that will be timeless: that he can keep forever as a memory of the day you married.
