What wedding gifts if only invited to the ceremony

We have been invited to attend a new neighbor/friend's daughter's wedding ceremony. Since we are not invited to the reception (which we understand and are fine with), what is the appropriate gift to give the bride and groom? Thanks

Dear Luckyfriday,

It is never appropriate to invite guests to the wedding and not the reception. And, gifts are for the wedding, so it may be best to give them something. But, there is no perfect gift. Just give something that reflects your relationship. This is a new relationship, so this could be part of the equation.

Best wishes,
