When to give gift for destination wedding?

I am attending a destination wedding in July. The B&G live in Wyoming, but are getting married in Florida. I live in Georgia and I can either bring the gift with me when I go to the wedding, or have it mailed to them at home before the wedding. Which is considered proper etiquette?

Wedding gifts should be mailed to the home of the bride before the wedding. This is true for all weddings, not just destination weddings.
